WILSON, William Rose
born on April 29, 1920 in Prenderguest, Scotland,
died peacefully on November 10, 2003
in Nanaimo, BC.
He is predeceased by his only child Lt. Col. Willy Wilson and his brother Alex.
Bill is survived by: his beloved wife Eileen Wilson, his daughter-in-law Ute Wilson, nephew Malcolm (Peggy) Wilson, niece Donna Wilson and stepdaughters GabrIole Springford and Trudy (Gottfried) Boyle, four grandchildren: Rob, Meghan, Araica and Aureuil and two great grandchildren: Jonathan and Michael Thomas.
Bill was a veteran of W.W. II and served in the United Kingdom and during the liberation of Holland. He also attended the 45th Anniversary of the liberation of Holland. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
A memorial service was held for Bill
at Sands Funeral Chapel,
One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC
on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.
