In loving memory of

Lockwood, William V. 1929 ~ 2007

Who passed away Nov. 30th in palliative care at Nanaimo Hospital. Bill battled with lung cancer for 2 years. followed by a massive stroke.

He is survived by his wife Diana, married 54 years. Living in Parksville, the last 20 years. Also four sisters and their families in Ontario. Betty Harris, Barbara Wirsching, Ruth Shaw and Helen Bray.

Bill was raised on a farm in Pickering, Ont. by his grand parents. Drove big 18 wheelers all across Canada and the U.S. for years. Also worked as a construction machinist in B.C. including the tar sands in Alberta and the Revelstoke damn in B.C. A passionate and courageous man, known to speak his mind. Dedicated to his friends and family. After retiring, he still continued to work with his pick-up truck locally. Constantly, creatively, renovating his house and garden. He was an original.
