Winifred JOSEFSON

November 13, 1919 – January 19, 2017
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Win, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Winifred is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Sven; children, Dianne Patterson, Karen (Bill) Oliver, Neil (Laurie) Josefson; and sister, Iris Street of Cadishead, England. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Dean (Sandy), Terry (Selena), Lauren (Dave), Kristen (Danny), Chelsea (Ryan), Lacey (Blair), Robyn and ten great-grandchildren. Winifred was predeceased by her granddaughter, Tanya (Peter) Boudewyn; sister, Elsie and her husband Arthur; brother, Frank and his wife, Ivy.
Winifred was very active and curled until she was 88 years old. She enjoyed travelling, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trillium Lodge for their thoughtfulness and the wonderful care they provided Winifred over the last three years.
A Celebration of Life will be held from
2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 28th, 2017
at Yates Memorial Services,
1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may remember Winifred with a donation to a charity of their choosing.
