In her 95th year, Win passed away peacefully in Qualicum Beach.

Born in Cornwall, England, Win and her husband, Harold and their family, emigrated to Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, in 1949, returning to Cornwall in 1959.

Later, Win and Harold moved to Victoria to be with their grown children and their families. Win was predeceased by her husband, Harold, in May 2000. She was always an avid supporter of the Arion Male Voice Choir, which Harold conducted for 20 years.

Win had a gift for seeing the fun in any situation and her laughter was contagious. She had a real zest for life. She had a talent for knitting and, along with her sister, Doreen Tennant, participated in many a craft fair in Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach. She was also renowned for her delicious Cornish pasties.

She will forever be lovingly remembered as a wonderful mother to her children: Norman (Isabel); Diane (Don) and Lynn (George). Grandchildren: Karen (Scott); David (Leya) and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:45 p.m.

on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Cowichan Golf and Country Club, just south of Duncan,

4955 Trans Canada Hwy,

Duncan, BC.
