A Preston question

What would Manning think of Stephen Harper?

Gerald Hall is right (The News, June 14) that Conservatives, and possibly Canadians, owe much to Preston Manning.

One of the positions he held, that the MP was always to represent the people of his or her riding, was one that all politicians should support.

He believed that only on confidence votes should the party whip enforce voting the party line.

I wonder how he feels about the way in which Stephen Harper rules the members?
