A recent letter writer figures that a little vehicle idling, lawn mowers, ATVs and diesel engines are big contributors to air pollution.
I’d say that those items are minuscule compared to air travel. Passenger mile/pollution ratio looks bad for planes I am quite sure. No actual data here, but I bet that the other writer also doesn’t have data.
Most people seem to think that planes are an acceptable way to pollute and get around.
