As I read the PQB News (June 6), I was listening to the dull roar of a weed-whacker, a lawnmower, and, lest we forget, the all-purpose, underpowered power washer that can go on for the entire day. Living in Chartwell, which is next to the airport, which was there when we moved here 12 years ago, I really appreciated the cartoon in that day’s paper.
I’ve never personally used the airport but given the average age of the people in this community, I’m comforted in knowing it is there in case of an emergency. Thank you, that cartoon made my day!
