Qualicum Beach teacher calls questions "inspiring"

I am a teacher in this district. I am not going to use this space to share my views on the current battle with the Liberal government. I am too tired of having to justify my profession and my views. I would much rather use this space to thank the community members that show their support everyday, be it in a kind word of encouragement or a honk on the picket line. Your support tells me I am fighting the good fight. I would also like to thank the members of this community who stop to chat and ask about the issues. Your desire to learn is inspiring and helps to fulfill the educator in me. To those of you that have donated dinners and food to those of us in need, many thanks. All of these actions remind me that I live in a caring and supportive community which is important in times of struggle. Sides do not matter, humanity does.
