I would like to thank The NEWS for its support in presenting our Blanket Exercise, which was held by the local chapter of Kairos on Sept. 24 at The Church of The Ascension.
The article, written by Auren Ruvinsky, was instrumental in advertising for the event and resulted in an excellent turnout.
At the end of the event, people commented that they learned something they did not know before and came out of it with a better understanding of what the Indigenous People have been through and where they are today.
We hope to be able to hold another Blanket Exercise in the area again soon. Thanks again.
