Bring back the ringing of church bells

Are we supposed to be a small town, with Christian values of inclusiveness? Why, with many fine churches, don’t we hear church bells melodious in sea breezes?

They can be comforting and maybe slow down these new, oblivious dwellers. Every handyman can run noisy electric gadgets every day of the week, which can be grating to the ears.

The charm of European and American towns we mainly come from all ring marvelous church bells. Enough of noisy, souped-up cars and motorcycles! To cultivate peacefulness, starting right here in our home towns, ring church bells.
