This property should be acquired for the general public to enjoy.

As Canada’s 150th birthday approaches, why don’t our city officials approach the federal government for funds to help purchase this property as a celebration of our nations birthday?

If that isn’t possible, perhaps the provincial government could find some money to purchase it.

After all, it would be far more long lasting than the $12 million they are spending for the Bollywood awards and benefit more British Columbians in the long run.
