Change lanes in Parkville

Case in point is the bizarre situation that exists on Hwy. 19A between Pym and Dogwood roads in Parksville.

There comes a time when people who have been appointed to manage progress and make decisions respectful of the tax payers best interest and safety, to take their heads out of the sand and be accountable and responsible.

Case in point is the bizarre situation that exists on Hwy. 19A between Pym and Dogwood roads in Parksville — four lanes to two lanes back to four lanes with no provisions, now or in the foreseeable future, on the two-way section for left hand turn lanes in spite of current development.

There are many levels of government who have input into the implementation of infrastructure compatible and adequate for positive growth; civic municipal, provincial, and federal but only one Parksville counselor, Al Grier, has taken on the task to act for the people and take issue with the lack of foresight and responsibility that is being demonstrated by our political leaders at any and all levels.

Be it that these same leaders are having such a difficult time with one small section of road needless to say our future is not bright.
