Arrowsmith Lodge did apply through the RFP process to construct and operate the Urgent Care Centre and the Primary Care Centre.
Unfortunately, we were not the successful proponents.
However, we do congratulate the successful proponent on their proposal.
The official position of the Board of Directors of Arrowsmith Rest Home Society is that we support the construction and operation of an Urgent Care Centre wherever it is built or whomever it is built by as long as it meets the needs of the residents of Oceanside.
While we believe that our proposal was an excellent submission, the VIHA chose a different proposal.
Arrowsmith Rest Home Society offers its support to any who are involved in the process to obtain a long overdue Urgent Care Centre for the residents of the Oceanside Area.
