Coombs Rodeo is unethical

It has come to our attention that an attempt is being made to revive rodeo in Coombs.

The public should be aware that all animal welfare organizations oppose rodeo, including our own B.C. SPCA, the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and the national SPCAs of the United States, Australia and New Zealand.  They do so for a reason: Rodeo is inhumane. The animals are subjected to fear, pain and stress to make them perform for human amusement. Who could support such an unethical “sport”?
