Well, last week the straw finally broke the camel’s back.
I have witnessed on many occasions, as I know many of your readers have, the total lack of sense shown by pedestrians at crosswalks. An elderly couple without even a slight glance or breaking stride walked directly into my path and also in a great hurry. Had I not seen them, say glancing momentarily sideways, they would be, shall we say, departed.
While you may think you have the right of way you do not. You share the responsibility with the driver. As a parting shot, I used the horn to indicate the presence of the death machine, it is impolite to give me the finger.
