Focus on Qualicum Beach

The town cleared trees, shrubs in prep for the new fire hall. This land has several water wells and aquifers feeding these wells.

These acres were cleared and leveled with no studies done by the town or independent agency. Coun. Dave Willie never opened his mouth about these wells on town land, as he has said it was his campaign promise to build a fire hall, which is outside the urban containment boundary.

Now the council is going expand the boundary to include the future fire hall and Pheasant Glen golf course, among other lands.

Willie needs to focus on Qualicum Beach and not on private property on Centre Road near the Little Qualicum River (re: his comments at a recent council meeting).
