I have been enjoying the wildflowers on the edge of the greenspace at the Jensen/Port Alberni Highway intersection and want to thank the City of Parksville, or whoever planted them, for bringing such a bright bit of colour to the spot.
I understand the land along Jensen from the highway intersection all the way to city hall is being considered for retail/residential in the future. It seems to me the treed area would make a very good small park as well.
The existing park area at the beach is lovely and a credit to the city.
