Errington’s 43rd Hi Neighbour Day celebration is on Saturday, August 18.
Starting with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. and followed by the Errington Farmers Market at 10 a.m., special events begin at noon with a costume parade and games for all ages including a zucchini race — zucchinis provided.
A purchased gourmet lunch is available in the hall, followed by the legendary ‘Ms. Errington Contest’, a silent auction of goods and services, displays of work by local artisans and artists and music. Phil Harmonic’s Jug Band Orchestra plays the outdoor stage from 10 a.m. to noon and Vancouver band Tambura Rasa lights up the dance floor at the hall from 9 p.m. until midnight.
