Hospital transport

Sick people need help around the clock and not just during “business hours.”

Re: 67-year-old woman leaving hospital at 3:30 a.m. (The NEWS, June 9).

This happened to me already, twice. But I don’t want to blame Nanaimo hospital or ambulances, they do a great job. The health center in Parksville should provide a night emergency service 24/7 and not close the door at 10 p.m. Sick people need help around the clock and not just during “business hours.”
