Ice bucketfuls

I want to take the opportunity to sincerely thank Dave Graham and Peter McCully for handing off the ice bucket challenge to myself

I want to take the opportunity to sincerely thank Dave Graham (88.5 The Beach) and The NEWS publisher Peter McCully for handing off the ice bucket challenge to myself, Kim Burden and Paul Drummond. I must say that they bravely endured the assault.

I note that Ian Lindsay limited his pour-over to one cup of water per challenger. And one of those challengers was bravely draped in a tarp large enough to cover half of the lawn of the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce.

I just wanted to tell both Dave and Peter that I have already met this challenge by being dosed with a very large bucket of ice water by my torturous son on Monday of last week and have mailed a cheque last Tuesday. Anyone wishing proof can contact me, and I will forward them the video.

So, my responsibilities have been met. However, if you need assistance in helping either Burden or Drummond to meet their responsibilities, I am, as always, happy to oblige.
