Something is rotten in the communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach!
No sane, intelligent or honest person could possibly think the local health centre, as proposed, is a good thing for our communities.
Especially not for seniors who will eventually have to move to other communities to be closer to Emergency Rooms.
Ron Cantelon does not listen to seniors. Or his lack of communication skills has prevented him from explaining to them how they will ensure that their health emergencies occur during office hours, even with the extended hours?
I understand that Nanaimo Regional Hospital is getting new equipment for their emergency room. What could possibly be a down side to acquiring this, now available, old equipment for use in an emergency facility in the local health centre?
Any suggestions on how to get a protest going that will give some sense to the senseless?
I have one last question to our two communities, especially our seniors ... are we already dead or do we just think we are?
