Seven years ago, a small group of people gathered at the corner of McMillan Street and Highway 19A. They held banners or signs asking for peace.
Sunshine Goldsberry and Liberty started this group.
Imagine since seven years, every Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. a dedicated group is still meeting with their signs for peace. They wave at people passing or driving by.
I am touched by the faithfulness and dedication and a passionate yearning for peace of this group. The members of this group are speaking and embracing what many of us are thinking and hoping for — peace. Think it, feel it and live it.
