A big thank you to W.H. Martin for his superb letter (The News, August 7).
To all the politicians — please do the correct thing, by allowing those of us who wish to die with dignity, to do so, by making it legal.
We deserve a referendum on this very serious matter — now not in years to come.
The injustice given to Sue Rodriquez is nothing short of being deplorable and unforgivable. Twenty years later and nothing has been altered. Shame on you all.
Please read Sue’s book. I cannot imagine having to fight the Supreme Court of Canada while suffering as she died.
