LETTER: Keep bikes, skateboards off boardwalk in Parksville

Electric bikes, bikes and skateboards should not use the boardwalk on the beach in Parksville.

While walking, it is very difficult to navigate with them coming at you, sometimes at a very fast speed.

They have their own bike trails and skateboard parks.

Can the walkers have at least this spot?

Please get off your toys, lock them up once in the park and walk, you will enjoy it. Let’s keep it safe on the boardwalk for everyone.

Nanaimo’s harbourfront walkway and Victoria harbour walk do not allow bikes and skateboard or sport equipment and it is so much safer and very secure for a walk.

City officials, do something about it.
