LETTER: News carrier appreciates community’s appreciation

It was good to read the letters expressing appreciation for mail and newspaper delivery personnel (News carriers and couriers deserve recognition, The NEWS, Jan. 3).

As one who delivers newspapers, I would like to express my gratitude for the thoughtful gifts of appreciation, and the friendliness from the people on my routes.
