Just a few questions about the Kinder Morgan expansion…
Have we forgotten the devastation created by the grounding of the Exxon Valdez on our coastline in 1989? (You may Google it for a refresher). Still hundreds of miles of destroyed, formerly pristine shoreline; destroyed shellfish harvesting areas; spawning grounds destroyed forever; thousands of seabirds and water animal habitat destroyed forever.
Remember? How much increase in employment was created by the original pipeline, and how much more by the expansion? My most important question, who was the idiot that approved the original pipeline? Can the federal government really shove this down our throats in the name of Canadian pride? The time is right now to get behind our present leader, as he seems to be the only one with the kahunas to stop this insanity.
Time to tell Ms. Notley to build their own refineries for their raw products. They need the employment. Get out of the U.S. oil companies’ bed.
