LETTER: Railroad stop signs should be facing train tracks instead

Re: “Stop signs mean ‘very little’ to some,” Letters, Aug. 7

For years now I’ve thought they should turn the stop signs the other way so that rail traffic (if there is any) would have to stop.

I do slow down and look but if anybody thinks I’m stopping for a derelict railroad crossing you would be wrong.
