A report in U.S. news last week stated there is pressure, now that pot is legal in Washington state, to overturn all simple possession of pot convictions. This could also include trafficking in pot, and there’s an extremely likely possibility this will happen.
In the U.S. there are people serving time in prison for possession as well; all these may be overturned, too. Now that pot is going to be legal, whether you agree with it or not, The government in Canada should do the same. Why is there no comment from them on this subject?
