LETTER: Time to revisit coastal refinery

Loathsome as it is for the owner of a newspaper chain to usurp a half page of newspaper to espouse his views, I cannot help but agree with David Black ( B.C. refineries would lift economy, cut emissions , The NEWS , May 15). We should be processing our own natural resources, rather than sending them overseas.

Loathsome as it is for the owner of a newspaper chain to usurp a half page of newspaper to espouse his views, I cannot help but agree with David Black (B.C. refineries would lift economy, cut emissions, The NEWS, May 15). We should be processing our own natural resources, rather than sending them overseas.

David Black got shot down several years ago when he first suggested a refinery on the coast, no doubt by KM and the spin meisters. Perhaps his vision should be revisited.
