This fine young man represented Qualicum Beach while currently serving sentry duty as a ceremonial guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa where Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was fatally shot last year.

Chambers is an incredible young man, to be chosen from among a thousand or so others for this special duty.

I sincerely hope that the Town of Qualicum Beach and the Legion will honour him in some way for his service.

Never having met him, I am extremely proud to know he comes from Qualicum Beach.
