I was thoroughly disgusted with your coverage of the Poppy Flag raising at the Royal Canadian Legion in Parksville for the kickoff poppy campaign. They only do this once a year and they do so much for our community throughout the year (too much to print here). I think it wouldn’t have hurt you to put the coverage on the front page of your newspaper, instead of the ‘Blooming QB award,’ which could have gone on the fifth page, instead of the poppy campaign kickoff. Hopefully you will rethink it for next year.
