My lawn is brown, always is in the summer.
My concern is the water that runs down the road (Memorial Avenue from the traffic circle to Fourth Street in Qualicum Beach) from the median sprinkler system. You can see the water marks on the road.
Also by buildings on my walk to work. I can see water running from the sprinklers directly to the parking lot (doesn’t even hit the grass first) and down to the drain.
It’s a shame to see all this water being wasted for no reason.
