I refer to the letter from Patricia Meadows in your Jan. 24 edition, in which she asks that the provincial NDP state its views on the proposed Enbridge pipeline.
I believe that Adrian Dix and others have taken a strong position that risks to our coast from tankers and pipelines are unacceptable.
He has urged interventions against this pipeline and the associated tanker traffic, both of which arise from the drive to significantly and rapidly expand the Alberta tar sands.
There is no question as to where the provincial NDP stands on this issue.
