My girls and I went to the deli for Chinese food at Qualicum Foods tonight. My older daughter was carrying the tray with her and her younger sister’s food and dropped it.
Immediately a woman from the kitchen came out and said she would order us a new meal and grabbed a broom to clean up the mess. Randy came over and let me know that a new meal was being put together for the girls. He walked over to the deli counter with me and promptly removed the price tag off the meal saying, ‘I’ll cover your meal. Accidents happen’. I was so touched by his gesture, as well as the response of his staff.
