We have been living in Qualicum Beach for almost 12 years and during that time the lot beside the town hall has been empty and I don’t recall ever reading or hearing about any plans or proposals to develop it.
Well, the ink is barely dry on the new height restriction bylaw that the three musketeers forced on us and we have a proposal for a four-or-five-storey condo project, complete with architect drawings and plans that I’m sure took some time to prepare.
But I suppose that’s just a coincidence .
