Re: Rail money. I am just wondering if there are not enough people on Vancouver Island who feel the same way I do about the rail line being brought back.
In my opinion, there is no way that $20 million is justified to get this going. There will not be enough ridership to make this a financial responsible venture on taxpayers behalf.
Are people living in the RDN really willing to fork over $945,000? Not according to what I hear on the street.
The better solution will be to turn this track into a multi-purpose trail that every one can enjoy. Maybe if more of us spoke up?
