Rude Canada Day behaviour

This letter is directed to the man in the light blue shirt sitting in a chair on the boulevard in front of the Shopper’s Drug Mart store at the Canada Day parade in Parksville.

You were obnoxious and very rude to the Citizen’s on Patrol volunteers. They were doing their volunteer job. Those who cheered for you were not nice either.

These people volunteer their time. This wonderful community would not be what is without the many people who volunteer. You and the group who stayed on the boulevard even though you were all asked to move, thus you prevented the folks on the sidewalk (who had come early enough to get a front row seat) from seeing most of the parade.
