We encourage readers to send us letters to the editor about local issues.
There are a few guidelines we ask you to follow.
Send your letter by e-mail to editor@pqbnews.com. We won’t reject letters that are sent to us via Canada Post or dropped off in a hard-copy form, but it takes longer for them to be processed and appear in the paper. While the editor may be dreaming of a day from decades past when newspapers employed typesetters for these kind of jobs, it isn’t going to happen. When you send by e-mail, please don’t send as an attachment — just paste the text into the window you are sending.
Also, make sure your letter is 300 words or less and include your full name, your hometown and a daytime phone number for confirmation purposes.
