The taxpayer funded campaign ad for Ron Cantelon that appeared in your April 16 issue trumpets the Liberal record in supporting seniors. He fails to mention, of course, that B.C. has the highest rate of low-income seniors in all of Canada; and, for the seventh year in a row, provincial spending on health care is below the national average. If the government is going to use our tax dollars to finance campaign advertisements for Liberal MLAs, at least they should include a few facts.
