Michelle Stilwell’s appointment is nothing but a way for the government to pretend that they actually care about the people on Vancouver Island.
She hasn’t earned it, nor is she qualified. The plain fact is that she is the only other Liberal MLA on Vancouver Island and Premier Christy Clark has no one else on the Island she can appoint.
There have been many letters in your paper saying how Stilwell was not around to represent her constituents. She will have even less time now.
