I wanted to take a moment to write a huge thank-you to the wonderful couple, the paramedics, firemen and everyone involved who helped me at the scene of my serious car accident on Aug. 12 on the Island Highway north of the Rosewall Creek bridge.
I drive daily from Qualicum Beach to Comox for work and on that evening I swerved to miss a deer on the highway and ended up flipping my car into the centre median.
I was so very lucky I wasn’t more seriously hurt. But everyone who stopped to help and take care of me, I thank-you.
