Brian and I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the neighbours on Hollywood Road in the Evergreen subdivision.
I was walking with my West Highland White Terrier, Fraser, when he was attacked by two German shepherds.
The dogs also knocked me to the ground. My screams for help brought people to our aid.
A special thanks to Ron and Vickie who were first on the scene and gave much appreciated assistance.
Our dog required surgery and was cared for by Dr. Lazlo Simon of Parksville Animal Hospital. We are very grateful for his excellent care and compassion.
Fraser is recovering at home and doing well.
