I’ve recently made the decision to relocate to Vancouver Island from Alberta. Mom and dad left Alberta for Parksville seven years ago and I’m going through a divorce, so a new home base was needed.
My oldest son came out in August from Alberta with his younger brothers and attended the Gold in the Net goalie camp in Parksville. On Sunday before day one of the camp, we went to Kidfest and my three sons had a great day. The volunteers at Kidfest, the instructors and arena staff at the camp are true ambassadors for the community.
