The devil we know

Cue the music maestro — they’ve chosen to dance again with the devil they know all too well.

I am truly baffled and bewildered by the Liberal majority win.

How people could return to power a government that has battered and betrayed them so blatantly and repeatedly will always be a mystery.

The folks who produce the polls, the media, the general population and, obviously, the NDP, were fooled as well and that certainly worked to the advantage of the incumbents.

Adrian Dix placed his trust in the polls — so much so that he chose not to utilize the facts at his disposal: the long litany of corruption, deception and dishonesty gave him lots of ammunition to go on the attack but, to my amazement, he decided not to.

Perhaps the pollsters never asked who the “Hi” citizens (hippies, hillbillies and hypocrites) who they were going to vote for?

I hope they never legalize the “B.C. Bud” I’ve heard about as it can obviously erase a decade of memories.

Be careful of what you ask for because sometimes you get what you want — time and time again and therefore, you deserve it.

Cue the music maestro — they’ve chosen to dance again with the devil they know all too well.
