All the political turmoil in Qualicum Beach that us in the know have known for years is now playing out like a good soap episode of ‘As The Stomach Turns’.
The epilogue narration might read something like this:
Where is CAO Mark Brown and why is he on leave anyway?
Will council send the fire chief golfing?
Will Mayor Teunis Westbroek be able to sweep this comedy of errors under the rug? And will the nick name “Toon Town” stick forever?
Was current NDP candidate and former town councillor Barry Avis involved? And will anyone actually vote for him?
