It’s only my opinion but I cannot imagine that bylaw would stand if challenged.
You can’t tell people who can live in a house so why should you be able to tell them who can live in a condo. Certainly if you wanted to apply that to rental buildings, absolutely, but owned properties? Makes no sense to me.
I’ve tried to understand council’s viewpoint, but if I was paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for my home I would not be wanting the town setting the rules.
How many councillors are living in or have lived in a condo? I do not live in or have any plans to live in a condo.
