Faith columnist Phil Spencer outlines an interesting metaphor on the comparison of cycling to faith in action.
Faith is the belief in things unseen and for many this is a relationship with God. Faith sustains ones forward movement in life that improves with the more one rides or uses faith in decision making.
It is not an assurance that one will not fall off the bike. Much like in real life we do fall, but the important point is that we do not suffer alone on our journey.
We never fall far enough to be out of the reach of God. We get up and learning from our experience, we become stronger and more skilled in our the operation of our bike.
In the end our spiritual and physical health grows as we continue through life.
