At the B.C. Senior Games Sept. 10-13, the Thrifty Foods Orcas mixed 55+ slo-pitch team from Parksville recorded six wins and no losses in a seven-team round robin. They lost 5-2 to Kamloops in the final to take silver. They have won three gold and two silver in the last five years.
