With the winter weather just around the corner, a Wednesday Badminton group is starting up to stay dry with some friendly indoor matches.
The ladies group, which played tennis together in the warmer months, decided to get together for badminton over the winter.
The group used to play at the old community hall in Parksville Community Park but have moved to the Arrowsmith Activity Hall on the Coombs Fairgrounds.
November 12 will be a “welcome” to anyone looking to join. Always looking for new members, the ladies will be there 1:30-3:00 p.m. Check out the great facility and test your skills on one of the three courts.
