The Oceanside Generals have lined up a number of exhibition games leading up to the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League 2022-23 season, which gets underway in September.
This month, the Generals will host the Nanaimo Buccaneers at Oceanside Place at 2 p.m. on Aug. 21 and then will again face the Buccaneers at Oceanside Place on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.
They will also take on the Lake Cowichan Kraken at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 then return the favour by hosting the Kraken at Oceanside Place on Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.

The Generals, who finished second last season in the playoffs, will open the regular VIJHL season against the Port Alberni Bombers at Oceanside Place at 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 9.
